Just in case you're curious how I am welcoming in the big 2-5...Tracy and Rachel are throwing me a party tonight and I leave for Maui tomorrow morning...blissful way to end a summer and warm up to the idea of being a certifiable adult. And yes, this is probably the only swimsuit shot you'll be getting of my "trip" - it was only taken a few years back when I thought I would one day be 5'7''.

Why is your dad so cute? I love that he left a comment on your blog. And why am I so spacey? Okay, so it's not really spacey, it's just that I have a serious problem with your birthday. Every year, my subconscious tells me that your birthday is Aug. 12th. Hence, that the day I am leaving this comment on your blog. And every year (you THINK I would remember...) Welcome to the world of 25 year olds. Kind of feels like when you were 24... but you know, I just feel like each year keeps getting better and better. I mean, you're spending your birthday on a beach drinking virgin margaritas... or something. That's cool! And we've got a whole year to plan something even better for 26! (wow, 25 sounds cool to me, but 26 sounds a little scary... we're going to have to come up with something really good!) I miss you like crazy. Hey Jaclyn! I got your text message on top of half dome. Been a little exhausted since I got back. We are actually leaving tomorrow for Santa Cruz and then on to Utah. I'm bummed we missed eachother.
