Endless Photo Boxes

Sometimes I wonder how I managed to be surrounded by so many good friends who seem to possess boundless creativity and an uncanny eye for a good picture. The question for you all today is what do you do with your extra pictures (ie those doubles that you shouldn't have printed or the pictures that didn't make the cut for the album or picture project)? The OCD side of me says it's time to toss anything that I haven't used or looked at recently. The packrat in me is angry that I am even considering getting rid of old pictures. Any ideas to help the silence the ridiculous quarreling voices?

I too have faced the same dilemna. I was going to throw them away two years ago and Kevin took them back out of the trash saying that we would do something with them. Two weeks ago I did find a use for them--art project time for nieces and nephews. Whether or not it worth hanging on to them for that long, well I will let you decide that.

this is ness-

well other than that fact that i am in love with that random picture or us, that doesn't quite fit into this blog unless it is a double and if it is i will be upset that you considered throwing it away, i have no answer. its just fun to write these run on sentences. and i love ya!

wait...maybe we could collage the pictures onto those costco picture-holder-upper-tube-things?

sorry i make no sense! xoxo

This is how I remember you guys! Don't toss the old photos - they will be even funner in the future. I think you should scan them and save them on a disk at least. So - can we please see each other at Christmas??

I'm the little devil on your shoulder saying "keep them! keep them all! have a messy closet with things you'll only look at every 5 years! you'll regret it someday... like throwing away your girl's camp necklace (why did I ever?!)" And there, my friend, is a guilt trip for you. but I support you either way. If you want to store them at my house- I'll do it. (have you seen our garage? we obviously keep EVERYTHING!) love you.

Someday, when little Mae isn't screaming bloody murder, she will want to see pictures of Aunty Jaclyn in all her glory. Who knows what will delight her fancy? Maybe pictures of your CV days will thrill her, maybe candids of her mom back in the day will make her giggle, maybe she will see the beauty of California and all it's greatness in the background and persuade her mother that it is the supreme place to be. Keep them in between your walls (literally) in storage until then.
