London Eye - Day 7, Part 3

The London Eye sits on the banks of Thames River right near Westminster Bridge. Our hotel as part of the old County Hall building was just a few dozen yards away. The 32-passenger capsules that sit on giant wheel rotate ever so slightly as the wheel makes its rotation. From the top of the rotation - an unreal 443 feet high - you can see the entire city.

Our parents called it an early night while Ness and I rode the Eye. We decided we need a treat, and who doesn't want a vending machine version of Ben & Jerry's. Some funny Irish people on the elevator thought we were hilarious for coming all the way to England to eat American ice cream. We just laughed and said we were in it for some wooden spoons.

I've had so much fun catching up on your blog tonight and hearing all about your fabulous trip. It was fun to hear about everything from your perspective and see the places we didn't get to go to in Paris. What a fun trip!
